This year, 2023, we were lucky enough to be invited to the NFLPA Rookie Premiere Event in Los Angeles. We got photos with Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seattle Seahawks), Hendon Hooker (Detroit Lions) and Deuce Vaugn (Dallas Cowboys).
We were told a special surprise was in-store for us and today an unexpected delivery arrived! 2023 Panini NFLPA Rookie Premiere Rated Rookies set showed up!

NFL football trading cards are the worst of any sport by a mile. Out of roughly 1500 NFL players on an opening day roster, Panini and others might offer 35-40 different players…period. All the card companies care about is making as much $$$ as possible for the least financial output. That’s why we only get 1st round rookies and a few all-pro players.
The least the card companies could do is offer a complete team set to every city that has a team so kids in that city could collect and study their city’s team players like the way it use to be. The NFLPA should sell the rights to someone else if Panini doesn’t want to do it.
